Personal Information

     Xiaoping Chen is a professor in Computer Science Department at Universuty of Science and Technology of China (USTC). He received a PhD in CS from USTC, a Master in EE and a BA in Mathematics from Anhui University. Prof. Chen is currently Director of the Center for Artificial Intelligence, USTC.
     Professor Chen has long been engaged in interdisciplinary research in Artificial Intelligence, Multi-Robot Systems and Symbolic Logic. He has undertaken two projects funded by National Natural Science Foundation, and two supported by National High-Tech Program.
     Prof. Chen also established and has led the USTC robot soccer team, WrightEagle, the first Chinese team that ever entered the international RoboCup competitions and the first Chinese legged robot team, which serves as a platform for researches on Multi-Agent Systems.
